How to Use Content to Create Fast Paths to Cash On Your Website

In this video, our guest speaker, Jennifer Bourn, goes into detail about how to use your content to make more money on your website. This is a great webinar for those who have business websites or even want to make money from a personal blog.

How Content is Organized and Structured

First, Jennifer breaks down how important it is to organize and structure your content. This includes to primary sections: Money & Education.

The “Money” section all about services you offer as well as any pages that are part of the sales conversion funnel. For example, product description pages or anything with a “buy now” call-to-action.

The “Education” section focuses mostly on content related to branding and marketing. For instance, blog posts that center around topics your business covers. If you were selling kitchen appliances, perhaps recipe blog posts of how to cook something while using your product.

How a Blog is a Digital Filing Cabinet for a Business

Jennifer goes on to explain how a blog is kind of like your online filing cabinet for the business. The content is broken down in similar ways that may help you keep organized.

For example, the categories of the blog act like the drawers of the filing cabinet. Then, you can use the tags to organize the pages even more as the “folders” within those drawers.

It’s essentially a way to connect the like-minded posts together to help visitors explore the website.

This works for news, announcements, knowledge, demonstrations, stories, expert opinions, and even perspectives.

And you can use all of this to map the content directly to what you offer on the website. In the example above, a blogger could use an affiliate link to sell nVidia graphics cards from that particular content.

Fast Direct Paths to Cash

Jennifer goes into how to offer the right thing at the right time. It’s all about getting people to the sales funnel as quickly as possible. This means reducing various distractions.

All content must have a purpose, which is true no matter what kind of blog or website you’re creating. It’s vital to remove as much filler and fluff as possible to engage an audience and entice them to make a purchase.

Using content to reinforce expertise while supporting your offers greatly improves reputation. Not only does it fill the customer with a sense of comfort, it also demonstrates professionalism.

And lastly, don’t forget the call-to-action. This is the element that prompts a visitor to make a purchase, sign up for a newsletter, or take some other action you want them to take.

Make More Money from Your Site

With the right mind set, anyone can make a decent amount of money from their websites. And Jennifer will help you view the content in a way you may not have considered.

It all comes down to organization and planning out how each piece of content serves the purpose of your goals.
