When you contact GreenGeeks support or billing staff, you may be asked for a PIN. This PIN is a security measure. It lets us know that you have access to GreenGeeks, and we can discuss account related issues with you.
If a GreenGeeks staff member asks you for a support PIN, here’s how to find it.
On a Desktop or Laptop Computer
Once you log in, click the drop-down arrow on your account profile in the top right.
When you log into your GreenGeeks account, the Support Pin is automatically generated. This number changes, so you cannot use the same one every time. This is to verify that you can access your account and are the owner.
Find the Support Pin in the drop-down profile.
NOTE: If you refresh or reload the page, a new PIN is generated.
If you have trouble logging into GreenGeeks, use the “Forgot password” function. If you still can’t log in, don’t worry! Contact us, and we can authenticate your account by other means and provide any help you may need.
On a Mobile Device
Essentially, the process of getting your Support PIN on a mobile device is the same as it is for a desktop.
Tap the arrow for your account.
Your Support PIN is already generated and ready.
